Transitional Winter Willow Wreathe

We are in that kind of post-holiday / pre-the-rest-of-the-year-awkward-winter phase where I have no idea how to decorate. Last year I decided that I wanted to create some kind of winter-ish front door wreathe that would capture some of the current season while looking forward to the next… and this is what I came up with!

Using a pre-made grapevine wreathe from Joann, I layered faux eucalyptus and willow branches with silvery light purple thistle and pops of large and small pine cones for a natural welcoming arrangement. Hot glue is one of my love languages, btw. I was surprisingly excited to swap out the Christmas cranberry wreathe for this transitional one! What do you think?

How do you like to decorate during this funky time of year? Let me know in the comments below!
